The Japanese Invasion Note, a $1 note that the Japanese had planned to use in the United States following a successful invasion, is included in this product description. Fortunately, this note was never needed, as the invasion never materialized.

During World War II, the United States minted several notable coins. In 1943, the penny was made in steel instead of copper, making it the only U.S. steel coin. The following year, in 1944, pennies were produced using recycled copper from shell cases recovered from battlefields and ships.

The 1941 Jefferson nickel, issued more than 70 years ago in the year of the Pearl Harbor attack, is another significant coin from this era. Starting in 1942, the nickel was struck in 35% silver to conserve nickel for the war effort. These short-lived silver nickels can be identified by the large mint mark on the reverse.

The Pearl Harbor and Japanese Invasion Coin & Currency Collection, the Lewis & Clark Coin and Currency Collection, the Changing Times Coin & Currency Set, the Boston Tea Party Coin and Stamp Collection, and the Civil War 150th Anniversary Commemorative Set are all available for purchase. These collections range in price from $19.95 to $29.95 and have received customer ratings between 3.8 and 4.7 out of 5 stars.

All of these coins and notes are over 75 years old, and the condition of the coins is Very Good (VG) or better, while the condition of the notes is Very Fine (VF) or better. These historical items are not only collectible but also make great gifts, as they hold significant historical significance.
